Believe it or not, occasionally BWT has needs. FILTHY needs (and we’re not talking about getting slack with the washing up for a few days.)
But despite 99.99999999% of the entire internet being taken up by porn, there is a surprising lack of erotic choice available to the female shopper.
We think there should be more 50’s style pin-ups to look at, with girls wearing “proper”, “decent” underwear and stockings.
We know all girls want to look at this stuff, because every Burlesque event we’ve attended (which is A HELLAVALOT) is frequented by 90% women. The 10% have been taken there by their girlfriends.
Thankfully, a recent shopping trip for a new girdle caused us to stumble across this – Peek! Magazine.
As the website itself says, Peek was:
“… Inspired by gentlemen’s magazines from the 1950’s, a period where simply a glimpse of a ladies under-garment was enough to send many into convulsions.
“However it is not designed to appeal to only aficionados of that era… Neither do we believe that Peek! should only be read by gentlemen, it is aimed at ladies and gentlemen alike and for this reason we bring you lots of articles about how the modern lady about town can dress in satorial elegance.”
Sounds good to us! BWT can’t wait for the next issue.
Valentine’s Day – Let’s Go See Judy Garland! February 11, 2010

We think these words would usually strike fear in your boyfreind/girlfriend, yes? Well that is until you tell them that she’s in a Burlesque show and will probably be wearing a teeny tiny outfit (and so will Marilyn Monroe, Doris Day and Audrey Hepburn).
Valentine’s is all about nice underwear – and we expect you’ll see quite a lot here. “Time for Tease” will also be serving a special hearts and flowers themed afternoon tea at The Pigalle Club in Picadilly, London town. And since it’s the day before Valentines day, you can avoid all those annoying “get a room” couples and stay in on Valentine’s day watching Doctor who with a Chinese takeaway.

We recently went to see Twlight New Moon at the cinema. We rather enjoyed it, despite Robert Pattinson’s massive eyebrows blocking most of our view (don’t worry Rob, we’d still shag you anyway. Call us!) But when the film had finished, we felt something was missing. And then it hit us – Twilight vampire nipple tassles. And at only $25.00 (well, plus shipping), they’re a BARGAIN!
We heard Stephanie Meyer’s working on her new book, so maybe she still has time to work these in. Don’t forget to credit us Stephanie, okay? Or let’s just say give us 50% of the profits. We’d say that’s fair.
