According to the BBC, after months of companies bidding for a takeover of our beloved Cadbury (the yummy chocolatier), American firm Kraft may finally prove victorious after the firm hinted it may raise its bid once more.

Protests have already taken place up and down the UK, campaigning for Cadbury to remain an independent company.  It is feared over 7,000 UK jobs may be lost if the takeover is successful, despite Kraft stating the claims were “utterly unfounded.”

It is rumoured a public announcement will be made about the status of the bid on Tuesday – so keep your eyes peeled.
