Administration Proves Hard To Swallow February 18, 2010

Reader’s Digest, the staple of dentistry waiting rooms, has gone into administration after failing to achieve regulatory backing for a pension scheme funding deal.

The British edition of the magazine has a history dating back to 1938.  117 UK employees face losing their jobs, although the publication will continue to trade for the time being, according to administrators.
