It’s Good To Graze March 3, 2010

It’s hard enough trying to reach your 5-a-day when a Rustler’s microwave chicken burger is often within your reach.  If you’re anything like BWT, your week begins with good intentions, and ends with McDonalds.

Thankfully, some clever bugger has come up with a rather nifty solution.  The best way of describing it is like when your mum used to make you packed lunches at school.  Only this time the lunches are packed with yummy healthy stuff, and your mum is a company called Graze.

Graze creates handy little boxes of prepared fruit, nuts and seeds.  Each box counts towards your government recommended 5-a-day.  The idea is that by ‘grazing’ on healthy foods, you keep your energy and bloody sugar levels in check – making it less likely you’ll reach out for that three o’clock Mars Bar.

What’s more, you have a massive say in what they put in it, thanks to an easy-to-use website, where you can rate each item of food available, from ‘bin it’ (so you’ll never receive it), to ‘love it’ (you’ll receive it very frequently.)

There are three to four portions in each box, depending on your selection.  You pick how many you want per week, and when you want each selection delivered.  One Graze box costs £2.99, and it’ll even fit through your letterbox.  How’s that for convenience?

Plus they’ve just introduced a whole bunch of new tempting choices, from green raisins (they taste much nicer than they sound) to deglet nour dates.

We could waffle on, but you’d be much better off checking out their website, to be honest.

P.S. Our favourite is “apple strudle”!
